Job summary

ZG Subpoena Solutions seeks a Senior Legal Analyst to manage responses to third-party civil requests for user data. You will analyze subpoenas, assess validity and scope, and communicate with attorneys to refine requests while upholding client policies and procedures.

The role requires at least five years of relevant experience, deep knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and the ability to work across teams in a hybrid/remote setup. Compliance and discretion are paramount.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience responding to third-party civil requests.
• Comprehensive understanding of The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and related tools.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug test if requested.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and respond to third-party civil legal processes including subpoenas.
• Evaluate validity, jurisdiction, scope, and procedural compliance of demands.
• Communicate with requesting attorneys to clarify requests and negotiate deadlines.
• Review client materials and identify gaps to improve processes.
• Maintain understanding of applicable laws and update client guidance accordingly.
• Document resolutions to promote consistency and team alignment.
• Assess client workflows and recommend procedural improvements.
• Analyze engagement data and help calibrate productivity benchmarks.
• Support successful client onboarding by developing policy understanding and procedures.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
