Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a strategic Sr. Legal Counsel, Litigation & Internal Investigations to lead internal investigations, support litigation, oversee e-discovery, and handle government inquiries, collaborating across Legal, Compliance, HR, Internal Audit, Information Security, and business teams.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D., bar admission, 8+ years, substantial experience in investigations and litigation management, and familiarity with federal/state enforcement; prior in-house

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (CA preferred).
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience with investigations and litigation.
• Experience interviewing witnesses and preparing depositions.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to handle confidential matters.
• Organizational, project management, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal investigations into compliance, ethics, misconduct, and related issues; coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel.
• Oversee litigation management including outside counsel, discovery, motions, trial prep.
• Handle government and regulatory inquiries; liaise with agencies.
• Manage e-discovery and information governance; oversee preservation and collection.
• Provide strategic legal counseling and training; contribute to policies and best practices.
