Job summary

Eqvilentjobs is seeking an experienced in-house or law-firm legal generalist to partner with compliance, operations, finance and technology teams. You will own regulatory implementation projects and lead the legal aspects of new market entry, including entity setup, licensing and regulator engagement.

The role requires a qualified lawyer with 7+ years of experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and fluency in managing long, process-heavy projects.

• Qualified lawyer with 7+ years of experience in-house or at a law firm.
• Handles a wide range of legal matters independently and to deadline.
• Comfortable with long, process-heavy projects.
• Advanced daily user of modern AI tools.
• Clear communicator who explains complex matters simply.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal side of new market entry: entity setup, licensing and regulator engagement.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including non-standard contracts.
• Advise on employment and HR across multiple entities.
• Manage external counsels for specialist advice.
