Gateway Group Personnel invites applications for Head of Legal Compliance in Memphis, TN. The role reports directly to the CEO and acts as the principal legal advisor for commercial transactions, while supervising corporate compliance, regulatory matters, and international trade compliance.

The successful candidate will negotiate complex agreements, guide executive leadership, strengthen compliance programs, and provide practical legal guidance that supports growth across global operations.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent, qualified to practice law in the United States.
• Extensive experience in corporate law, commercial transactions and complex contract negotiation.
• Experience advising executive leadership on legal matters and regulatory compliance.
• Background in corporate compliance programs, risk assessments and policy development.
• Knowledge of international trade compliance including export controls and sanctions.
• Experience with international business transactions and asset-based contracts preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
