RRD is seeking a Legal Financial Support Service Billing Supervisor to lead the finance team responsible for unbilled and accounts receivable for a subset of partners and clients. This full-time role requires strong oversight of billing processes, adherence to SOPs, and delivery of accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has experience in professional services billing, proficiency with 3E/Elite/Aderant or similar systems, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years supervising all or a portion of the billing function in a professional services environment preferred.
• Minimum five years of billing experience in a law-firm or professional organization required; six years preferred.
• Proficiency with 3E, Elite, or Aderant and industry standard collection software tools.
• Proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas) and MS Word/PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and diverse legal document formats.
• Ability to multitask and meet stringent deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Supervise financial support services employees to ensure quality service delivery through SOPs and metrics.
• Manage staffing and workflow volumes; allocate staffing by shift or service line.
• Ensure billing workloads are appropriately weighted and balanced.
• Oversee employee lifecycle including interviewing, onboarding, training, and development.
• Identify areas for additional training to ensure uniform skill levels.
• Monitor client inventory balances and ensure timely unbilled billing and AR follow-up.
• Ensure team follows workflow processes for unbilled and AR from proforma to invoice collection.
• Serve as initial point of contact for daily questions and concerns.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally; communicate proposed solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of client billing terms and preferences.
• Assist with P&L activities and consider overtime impact to avoid non-billable charges.
• Ensure E-Billed invoices are transferred to the e-billing vendor timely.
