The role requires strong calendaring, e-filing in Florida state and federal courts, and the ability to coordinate hearings, depositions, CMEs and mediations. The position is hybrid and based in the Greater Boca Raton area.

Qualifikationen

• 5–10 years of experience in general liability and/or insurance defense.
• Experience supporting 3+ attorneys or a workload of 100+ cases.
• Strong calendaring including hearings, depositions, CMEs and mediations.
• Florida e-filing in State and Federal court.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional demeanor.

Aufgaben

• Maintain attorneys' calendars by planning and scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, teleconferences and travel.
• Schedule hearings, depositions, CMEs and mediations; coordinate with outside firms as needed.
• Prepare and finalize correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions and routine shell macros.
• Open and close legal files; manage general correspondence between outside firms, clients and insurers.
• Record and track deadlines through docketing and calendar systems.
• Assist multiple attorneys and support trial preparation.
