Job summary

The City of Atlanta is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the leave management program, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and related accommodations. You will guide staff, ensure compliance, and partner with departments to deliver efficient leave processing.

You will supervise Medical Leave Analysts, coordinate complex cases, and develop policies to improve operations while protecting confidential employee information in a dynamic public sector environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA and related leave laws.
• Experience in leave administration and case management.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to confidentiality of employee information.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the City's leave management program.
• Supervise Medical Leave Analysts and staff responsible for employee leave and accommodations.
• Ensure compliant and timely administration of cases per laws and city policies.
• Coordinate ADA interactive process and reasonable accommodations with departments.
• Maintain confidential records and prepare reports on leave utilization and program effectiveness.
