Job summary

Volkswagen Financial Services, a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, is seeking a Senior Product Specialist in Reston, VA. You will help identify, test, and bring to market new products to support the future of mobility, including new business models and autonomous vehicle adoption.

This role sits in the Strategy, Product and Portfolio Team and requires strong communication, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate customer needs into viable products.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of product management, strategy, or related field.
• 7+ years of taking concepts from concept to implementation.
• 7+ years of analyzing data and building financial models.
• 7+ years of cross-functional leadership in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Participate in user interviews, focus groups, surveys to understand customer needs and develop new product concepts.
• Build and evaluate business cases for existing and new product concepts.
• Lead planning, execution, reporting, and other tactics for Retail Finance products, pilots and launches.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, marketing, finance, IT and logistics to map business needs.
• Conduct market research to track competitors, trends in Mobility and Fintech.
• Manage partnerships, draft agreements, and track SLAs with legal as needed.
• Report KPI progress and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to VW Credit’s product strategy and roadmap.
