Job summary

Equity Property Management is seeking a senior leasing professional to drive lease-ups across a 204-unit garden community and 108-unit luxury townhome development. The role emphasizes high-volume prospect management, compelling tours, and aggressive closing in a commission-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in apartment leasing or sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor staff as the portfolio expands. Weekend work is required with a weekday comp day.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of apartment leasing, sales, or related experience.
• Strong closing skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Professional presentation and strong organizational abilities.
• Experience with property management software (Onesite, Knock preferred but not required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate, manage, and convert prospect traffic into signed leases.
• Conduct apartment tours and effectively close prospective residents.
• Manage leads and follow-up using Knock CRM software.
• Coordinate outreach marketing efforts and maintain online advertising and social media presence.
• Oversee the presentation of model and vacant units.
• Qualify prospects, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in procedures.
• Coordinate resident events and support retention and renewal efforts.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between the property and prospective residents.
• Assist in mentoring and developing leasing staff as the portfolio grows.
