Job summary

insightsoftware is seeking a Senior Consultant, Lease Accounting with deep ASC 842 and IFRS 16 expertise to lead client implementations of our SaaS lease platform. You will guide design, configuration, data onboarding, and training while helping live clients achieve compliant reporting and effective lease management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with specialization in accounting or equivalent
• Experience implementing enterprise lease accounting software from a lessee perspective
• Understanding ASC 840, IAS 17, ASC 842, IFRS 16 and IFRS 102
• Experience preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Ability to work with multiple ERP modules and data integration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work remotely with high-speed internet

Responsibilities

• New client implementations of our SaaS application including design, configuration, data migration, workflow, and training.
• Help clients optimize lease accounting, reporting, and lease management.
• Respond to client questions and support tickets, focusing on lease accounting entries and reports.
• Analyze and document defects, regressions, and product limitations; prioritize tickets with Product and Engineering.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners, and with client user teams to promote best practices.
• Ensure new releases meet client expectations and are free of defects.
• Update product documentation and training curricula.
• Review existing implementation protocols and suggest improvements.
• Assist Sales and Marketing with technical questions from prospects.
