Wonder is seeking a Senior Manager, Lease Accounting in New York to lead all aspects of lease accounting, including data accuracy, reporting, and compliance with ASC 842. The role combines hands-on accounting with cross-functional collaboration across Real Estate, Legal, and Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate lease reporting.

The candidate should bring 5+ years of lease accounting and proficiency in major lease software and ERP systems.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with lease accounting specialization.
• Hands-on experience with major lease accounting software (CoStar, LeaseQuery, Tango Analytics).
• Expert knowledge of lease accounting principles (ASC 842).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics), Excel (vlookup, PivotTables) and databases (SQL, BigQuery).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Perform month-end close activities for lease-related accounts and post journal entries.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Legal, and AP to gather accurate lease data.
• Review lease abstracts for data accuracy (term, rent start, renewal options, incentives).
• Oversee end-to-end process for timely base rent and operating expense payments.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules, disclosures, and explanations.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability of lease accounting.
