Job summary

IEM is seeking a Senior Learning Program Manager in San Antonio, TX to lead end-to-end training for a new manufacturing facility. The role includes onboarding, internal training, and workforce development, with ownership of a growing team of manufacturing training specialists.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple workstreams, translate business needs into practical learning solutions, and build external partnerships to create talent pipelines for ramp-up.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in learning and development or related fields.
• Experience designing and managing learning programs for a defined population.
• Proven ability to launch training functions in manufacturing environments.
• Strong project management skills with multiple initiatives.
• Experience building partnerships with workforce development partners.
• Bilingual delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage training programs for production employees.
• Ensure compliance, safety, and record-keeping for training in LMS.
• Develop job-specific learning pathways and onboarding programs.
• Lead and grow a team of Manufacturing Training Specialists.
• Build external partnerships with workforce boards and local colleges.
• Drive continuous improvement using performance data and audits.
• Collaborate across Talent Development, Operations, Safety, Quality, and HR.
