Job summary

The Senior Learning and Development Specialist at The Sisters of Mercy of the Americas oversees the Learning Management System (LMS) and supports organization-wide learning and onboarding. You will partner with Organizational Development, HR, and leaders to advance employee growth, leadership development, and upskilling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5–7 years of LMS experience, strong analytics, and the ability to design and deliver engaging programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, L&D, Organizational Leadership, Healthcare Admin, Education Tech, or related field.
• 5–7 years LMS administration or learning operations experience.
• Experience administering an LMS supporting blended learning operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer LMS: access, assignments, curricula, certifications, compliance tracking.
• Enhance LMS functionality and user experience.
• Monitor training compliance with organizational leaders.
• Develop learning materials and program communications.
• Deliver virtual and instructor-led learning programs.
• Produce reports and dashboards on learning metrics.
• Support data-driven decision making and organizational development initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
