Job summary

Medtronic Tempe is seeking a Senior Lean Sigma Program Manager to transform performance across the campus. You will coach leaders and teams using Lean Six Sigma, A3/DMAIC methodologies, and strategic partnerships to accelerate results, improve safety, quality, service, and cost.

Located onsite at the Tempe manufacturing site, this role requires cross-functional collaboration, governance, and multi-year strategy development to sustain continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Lean Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 5 years.
• PMP certification and Master Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy the “1 Best Way” aligned with the Medtronic Performance System (MPS).
• Own the programmatic savings program delivering labor, burden and material usage variance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional focus factory leaders on lean transformation strategies.
• Develop a multi-year strategy for MPS to achieve best-in-class safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Establish operating mechanisms to track progress for site initiatives and programmatic savings.
• Train and coach Yellow Belts and Green Belts.
• Define and implement continuous improvement programs across the organization.
