Job summary

Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division in Davenport, IA seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead plant-wide CI initiatives and sustain lean practices. You will drive problem solving using Lean and Six Sigma, embed CI into ECIS, and promote tools like VSM, A3, DAP, LSW, Gemba Walks, TPM, SW with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes achieving CI KPIs such as cost reductions and productivity gains, plus leading Six Sigma training, certifications, and year-over-year improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's engineering degree from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement using Lean process methods across multiple functions.
• 5+ years in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Certified and Active Six Sigma Belt and RedX problem solving methodology.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position requires ITAR compliance; all applicants must be U.S. persons.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level Continuous Improvement strategy, including ECIS deployment and performance management.
• Establish, execute, and evolve the Six Sigma strategy and program, including governance and certification pathways.
• Drive year-over-year Six Sigma performance in cost reduction, certifications, and savings per certification.
• Lead CI and Six Sigma training and certification efforts for CI professionals and frontline leaders.
• Review and improve CI, problem solving, and Six Sigma training content for high impact and consistency.
