Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Lean Six Sigma professional to lead continuous improvement across its MedTech Lean transformation in Anasco, Puerto Rico. You will design and implement improvement roadmaps, train teams, and drive total delivered cost reduction while maintaining quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include applying Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen, coaching partners, and delivering measurable productivity gains across production lines in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or engineering.
• 4+ years of progressive business experience in a regulated industry, with a strong background in supply chain.
• Black belt certification.
• Lean/Six Sigma/Process Excellence is required.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities within a matrix organization.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to engage partners at all levels.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, coupled with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating a high degree of initiative and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen methodology, processes, and tools.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM, Kaizen).
• Apply a strong background in Operational Excellence, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and Black Belt certification to drive continuous improvement, strengthen operational performance, eliminate waste, and improve productivity across production lines.
• Track progress, report metrics, and provide leadership team updates.
• Collect and/or create best-in-practice tools across internal, external, and industry sources; lead training and implementation of tools across JJV supply chain.
• Deliver against the JJV and functional productivity, cost, inventory, capacity, and lead time annual and long-term goals.
• Instill a culture of continuous improvement, and a mindset of challenging the status quo.
• Adapt to a constantly evolving environment and leverage change as an opportunity to improve processes and tools.
• Plan and deliver trainings in improvement methodologies to raise the organizational acumen.
• Coach partners in application of Lean methodology and tools.
