Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech in Puerto Rico is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering group in Añasco. The role focuses on advanced engineering for facilities, systems and equipment, with emphasis on process excellence and validation support.

Under the Engineering Manager, you will lead moderate to high complexity projects, drive improvements, and ensure GMP compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams on site in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment, R&D orProcess Development.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management.
• Proven experience with validation cycles (FAT, IQ, OQ and PQ).
• Fully bilingual: Spanish and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develops process excellence techniques to identify systematic issues.
• Tracks trends and implements equipment/process enhancements to improve yield and reliability.
• Leads projects of moderate to high complexity ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provides technical support evaluating process deficiencies and changes.
• Defines and analyzes problems for prompt solutions.
• Develops and executes validation strategies; adheres to GMPs and SOPs.
