Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Staff Manufacturing Engineer. This position will be located in Anasco, Puerto Rico and will involve advanced engineering, design, and construction of manufacturing facilities, systems, and equipment to support GMP/ISO compliant operations.

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, you will lead projects, perform problem solving, validate processes, manage budgets, and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years in a maintenance manufacturing environment, R&D or Process Development.
• Proven project management experience.
• Experience with validation cycles (FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Fully bilingual: Spanish & English required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develops process excellence techniques to identify issues and implement improvements for efficiency and yield.
• Leads projects/programs of moderate-high complexity and ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and business needs.
• Provides technical support and analyzes process deficiencies and optimization opportunities.
• Sets engineering standards and mentors team members; recommends equipment choices for balanced line performance.
• Manages project estimates, schedules, and cost tracking.
• Drives continuous improvement and coordinates with site functions and other divisions.
• Coordinates investigations for non-conformances and supports CAPA processes.
