Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence to lead a high‑performance operating system across the PSI site in Simi Valley, CA and CUU in Chihuahua, MX. You will foster daily management, structured problem solving, accountability, and transformational improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success deploying Lean Manufacturing systems in complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading plant-wide transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing flow, factory design, and material movement optimization.
• Proven ability to coach leaders and drive cultural change.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Daily Management System across Simi Valley and CUU.
• Establish tiered accountability meetings and visual management processes.
• Develop KPIs focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, Productivity, and People.
• Drive leader standard work and accountability routines.
• Ensure performance gaps are identified and acted upon through escalation processes.
• Develop site-wide capability in structured problem solving methodologies.
• Coach leaders in root-cause analysis, A3 thinking, 8D, 5 Why, and PDCA.
• Facilitate cross-functional improvement events to eliminate recurring issues.
• Build organizational capability to solve problems at the lowest level.
• Drive a culture where issues are surfaced and permanently eliminated.
• Lead current-state and future-state value stream mapping.
• Design layouts to improve material flow and labor efficiency.
• Create pull-based replenishment systems and optimize inventory flows.
• Improve warehouse and production flow strategies.
• Deploy Lean tools (Standard Work, Visual Management, 5S, VSM, Cell Design, Kanban, SMED, TPM).
• Establish governance and continuous improvement roadmaps.
• Coach plant leaders in Lean leadership and continuous improvement.
