Planet Pharma in Durham, NC seeks a Senior Operational Excellence Engineer to lead and sustain the Operational Excellence strategy, integrating SQDC objectives and coaching Change to Win and Production System programs. You will mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and develop capability in CI methodologies, influencing stakeholders and promoting accountability across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 4-5 years in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, project management, and coaching methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and facilitate continuous improvement projects aligned with business strategy and KPIs.
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and sustainment of results.
• Drive opportunity identification for cost savings and elimination of non-value-added activities.
• Monitor financial impact of improvement projects with Finance.
• Facilitate VOC and VOB reviews with executive leadership.
• Manage Annual Deployment Plan for Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Maintain visual management systems and performance boards.
• Ensure integration between processes through standardized work and best practices.
