Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to drive process improvements across manufacturing and distribution, focusing on efficiency, quality, and safety.

The role uses Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and PDCA to deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate value stream mappings, root cause analyses, and workshops, while maintaining KPIs and dashboards to track ROI and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in process improvement, operations, manufacturing, quality or similar roles.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze process improvement opportunities.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
• Coordinate workshops, value stream mapping sessions, and root cause analysis activities.
• Ensure process enhancements are measurable and aligned with goals.
• Collect and interpret performance data to support decisions.
• Maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance.
• Track cost savings, efficiency gains and ROI.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and leadership presentations.
• Document current and future-state processes and SOPs.
• Support compliance with internal standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with DC leadership and cross-functional teams.
