Job summary

Continental Tool Group in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Lead to build and run the CI program on the factory floor and report to the General Manager. You will partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of CI/Lean experience in manufacturing with cross-functional projects delivering measurable results.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and project-management skills; able to influence without authority.
• Preferred: discrete manufacturing of engineered products; multi-site or enterprise-wide initiatives; automation or capital projects.
• Ability to travel 0-10% (as needed).

Responsibilities

• Drive standard work, daily accountability, production boards, and Gemba.
• Lead 5S and visual management and plant presentation initiatives.
• Improve production efficiency via cycle-time reduction and changeover improvements.
• Strengthen quality and process control through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead Kaizen events and train supervisors in lean problem-solving.
