Job summary

Bio-Techne Corp. in Minneapolis is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive enterprise-wide process excellence within the Hematology division.

You will lead high-impact CI initiatives, partner with senior leadership, and shape strategies to improve operational efficiency, quality, and scalability. The role requires Lean, Six Sigma, and change management expertise, plus strong data visualization and collaboration across QA, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in CI, manufacturing, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in hematology reagents manufacturing.
• Prioritize cost-improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Lead Visual Factory management and Gemba walks with frontline teams.
• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting using Power BI and other tools.
• Contribute to Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects with senior CI staff.
• Assist or lead manufacturing automation projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop business cases for productivity, capacity, quality, and cost improvements.
• Create process documentation (SOPs, flowcharts) and training materials.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and production teams.
