Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. is seeking a Senior Professional Development Trainer to design, deliver, and maintain leadership training across the organization. The role requires advanced facilitation skills and coaching for leaders and teams, with emphasis on integration with enterprise learning strategy.

You will mentor junior trainers, collaborate with HR and technical teams, and ensure training offerings stay current with best practices in adult learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development or related field.
• Experience designing, developing, and leading professional development content.
• Experience facilitating advanced or multi-session training programs.
• Experience coaching leaders or employees.

Responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve professional development and leadership training programs.
• Lead high-impact training sessions for leaders and experienced staff.
• Provide coaching to support leadership development and IDPs.
• Ensure programs align with other training initiatives and strategy.
• Partner with HR and enterprise learning teams to coordinate content and learner experience.
• Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create effective sessions.
• Mentor and coach early-career trainers and interns.
