Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Leadership Development Specialist, Senior within the Organizational Development and Performance team. You will design and implement leadership development curriculum and program offerings, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful learning experiences for leaders at all levels.

The role emphasizes project management, event planning, communications, and stakeholder engagement, with in-person and virtual facilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with 4 years relevant experience.
• 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage details, forecast risks and develop plans to minimize them.
• Self-direction to progress with limited information, take initiative, and adapt.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; clear and concise when conveying complex information.
• Executive presence when presenting and navigating high-visibility delivery challenges under pressure.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives by partnering with stakeholders to design and deliver learning solutions.
• Designing and delivering learner experiences/programs in person and/or virtually.
• Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, Qualtrics, and Learning Management Systems (Absorb, Workday).

Responsibilities

• Manage leadership development programs from conception to delivery.
• Coordinate event management and program communications.
• Engage stakeholders across departments to align on learning goals.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual sessions for leaders at all levels.
• Support hybrid work model and scheduling requirements.
