Job summary

Viva Health seeks an Associate Director, Provider Performance & Value-Based Contracting in Birmingham, AL to lead strategy and operations for value-based reimbursement and provider performance initiatives.

The role requires coordinating with Provider Services, Medical Economics, and Finance to translate strategy into actionable execution, improve provider performance, and strengthen partnerships with ACOs, CINs, and hospitals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as required in the field of healthcare administration or related
• 7 years progressively responsible experience in managed care, provider contracting, provider network management, value-based care, or related field
• 3 years progressive leadership or management experience
• Strong knowledge of value-based reimbursement methodologies and provider performance improvement strategies
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead value-based contracting strategies and models across the network
• Develop and maintain provider performance scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Provider Services, Medical Economics, Finance and Clinical Operations
• Analyze provider performance using quality, utilization, cost, and risk metrics and translate into actionable recommendations
• Provide operational leadership for the Preferred Provider Network and expand provider partnerships
