Job summary

Leo Berwick seeks a Senior Leader (Managing Director or Partner) to build and scale its power, utilities and renewables practice. You will lead technology diligence and data/AI value creation for PE sponsors and infra funds, with 10-15+ years of experience and a track record of building a practice.

In this leadership role, you will be part of the leadership team, defining responsibilities and growth strategies across North America, with equity participation and a remote-first work model.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience in power, utilities or renewables sectors.
• Experience building and selling a practice, not just delivering within one.
• Background in technology consulting and/or operating roles is a plus.
• Strong sector credibility and technical depth.

Responsibilities

• Lead sector practice build-out and go-to-market strategy.
• Originate and close new engagements with PE sponsors, infra funds, and corporate acquirers.
• Train and mentor staff on technology diligence in power and utilities.
• Lead diligence, carve-out, integration, and TSA planning.
• Manage executive relationships with CIO/CTO/CDO and PE teams.
• Collaborate across data, AI and cyber engagements beyond the sector.
