Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement to lead a team driving Lean and CI initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on developing talent, executing Lean strategies, and delivering measurable results that create value for customers and shareholders.

The candidate will consolidate information to develop operations strategy, track projects, and provide direction across multiple groups to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and delivering operational improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of ZEBS professionals to deliver continuous improvement results.
• Define and execute cross-functional improvement initiatives aligned to annual strategic priorities.
• Partner with site and functional leadership to define and support operational improvement plans.
• Utilize financial resources and ensure best solutions are defined and executed effectively.
• Implement and sustain Lean methods and processes (Strategy Deployment, Standard Work, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Daily Management, Problem Solving, Kaizen and Pull Systems).
• Analyze performance metrics (cost, cash flow, efficiency) and translate insights into action plans.
• Drive organizational participation in lean initiatives including CI metrics.
• Oversee project plans to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
• Identify risks, remove barriers, and ensure resource alignment across initiatives.
• Track and report on KPIs, AIPs, and strategy deployment progress.
• Lead Kaizen events, Lean boot camps, training and capability-building efforts.
• Identify and promote sharing of best practices across locations.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
