Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive manufacturing process improvements. You will lead projects within our Lean/Continuous Improvement framework to enhance quality, efficiency and throughput, redesigning areas and recommending equipment as needed.

You will mentor engineers and technicians and collaborate with product engineering to optimize product manufacturability. A Bachelor's in Engineering is required; Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology required; Master's preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and quality management training preferred.
• 7+ years of experience preferred.
• Proficient in CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
• Experience with 5 Whys, A3, and PDCA problem-solving approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex manufacturing process-improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Lean/CI system to increase throughput and quality.
• Re-design manufacturing areas, tooling, fixturing, and equipment.
• Mentor Engineers and Technicians on CI initiatives.
• Support ROI calculations for capital expenditures.
