Job summary

ModeX Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director (Immunology) to lead discovery and preclinical development of multispecific biologics for immunology/inflammation and immuno-oncology. You will guide concept identification, candidate selection, and IND-enabling work, coordinating with cross-functional teams to translate biology into IND-ready candidates.

The role requires deep immunology expertise, leadership of scientific teams, and hands-on collaboration across departments to advance programs

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Immunology or related with 10+ years of research experience, incl. 5+ years in biotech R&D.
Proven record in immunology and immuno-oncology drug discovery with multispecific antibodies.
Demonstrated leadership of scientific teams and IND-enabling program experience.

Responsibilities

Provide scientific and strategic leadership across multispecific programs from idea to IND-enabling development.
Lead and mentor a team of scientists, fostering a high-performing culture.
Oversee in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo studies to support mechanism and translational relevance.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and present strategies to leadership and partners.
Identify targets, evaluate combinations, and mitigate risks across programs.
