Job summary

ModeX Therapeutics, based in Weston, Massachusetts, seeks a Principal Scientist II, Immunology to lead discovery and preclinical development of multispecific biologics for immuno-oncology and immunology/inflammation indications.

This role provides scientific and strategic leadership across the full discovery lifecycle, from concept through IND-enabling development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate innovative biology into candidate therapies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Immunology or related field with extensive research experience.
• Strong track record in immunology and immuno-oncology biology.
• Experience leading multispecific antibody programs or complex biologics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and strategic leadership for multispecific therapeutic programs.
• Identify and validate targets, mechanisms, and multispecific formats.
• Lead target validation, molecule characterization, and candidate selection.
• Design and oversee in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo studies evaluating MOA, potency, and pharmacology.
• Generate integrated data packages supporting preclinical development and IND-enabling studies.
• Mentor scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
