Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group is seeking a Senior Group Manager for Genesis Quality & Service Engineering in Fountain Valley, CA. You will lead the US market quality strategy, align across R&D, Quality and NAQC, and drive field issue resolution, recalls and continuous improvement programs.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in automotive service, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and strong data analysis, communication, and leadership skills. On-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ten+ years of experience, with at least 8 years in OEM service.
• Three+ years of technical supervisory experience.
• Thorough automotive technical knowledge.
• Strong data management, statistical analysis and reporting.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Strong analytical/problem solving ability.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, dimensional management/tolerance stacks.
• Well organized yet flexible to changing objectives.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead Genesis quality and service engineering across models to identify and accelerate corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, NAQC and HATCI.
• Oversee field issue resolution and warranty data analysis.
• Distribute Technical Service Bulletins, campaigns and recalls timely.
• Coach and develop staff and manage budget and resources.
• Support media events and vehicle prep for public relations and launches.
