Job summary

Hyundai Motor Company in Fountain Valley, CA seeks a senior leader to head the Body & Chassis Systems engineering group, overseeing New Model and Current Model Quality Assurance responsibilities.

You will drive cross-functional coordination with R&D, Quality, NAQC, HATCI and other Hyundai groups, lead the group’s engineers, manage budgets, and mentor staff while delivering quality assurance and field issue countermeasures.

Qualifications

• Ten plus years of OEM service experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• Three to five years of technical supervisory experience.
• Strong automotive knowledge and data analysis skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; GD&T and tolerance management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Body & Chassis Systems engineering groups.
• Ensure Hyundai and Genesis brands maintain leadership in vehicle quality.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, NAQC and HATCI and other teams.
• Identify and investigate field technical conditions; report to US/Korea for countermeasures.
• Oversee staff development, budget, and performance reviews; manage staff scheduling.
