Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a VP, CoreTech Governance Leader to drive safety and soundness across CoreTech. You will lead exams, audits, and risk remediation, developing a strong control framework while guiding a team of governance resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 12+ years Technology + Agile Portfolio Management experience in lieu of degree.
• Governance and/or risk management experience demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Lead OCC/FRB exams, Internal Audits, 2LOD exams, and pen tests.
• Explain technical risks to senior leaders and prioritize remediation actions.
• Drive risk identification, remediation, and strengthen the control framework across CoreTech.
• Oversee PCI evidence delivery and ensure compliance with PRC framework.
• Collaborate across technology lines and manage cybersecurity and SOX compliance efforts.
• Create and update dashboards communicating status and productivity in governance.
