Job summary

SchoolsFirst FCU is seeking a proven senior leader to head Consumer Loan Operations, overseeing underwriting, processing, funding, and operational quality across direct and indirect lending. You will translate credit strategy into day-to-day processes, ensure compliance, and drive scalable workflows that improve turnaround times and member experience.

• Strategic operations leadership with executive-level judgment.
• Deep understanding of consumer loan underwriting, processing, funding, and risk controls.
• Ability to translate enterprise strategy into clear operating priorities, controls, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead consumer loan underwriting, processing, funding, and operational quality.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Technology, Data, Finance, and other functions to deliver responsible lending outcomes.
• Establish governance for underwriting authority, exception management, and decision quality.
• Develop operating scorecards and capacity plans, drive continuous improvement across systems and processes.
