Job summary

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Consumer Loan Originations to set strategy and lead performance across direct and indirect channels, including digital and branch delivery.

You will drive application acquisition, completion, conversion, and a smooth member experience while partnering with senior leadership to scale growth, manage risk, and ensure credit union objectives are met.

Qualifications

15+ years of relevant experience.
10+ years of management experience.
Strong knowledge of consumer lending laws and risk controls.
Experience with omnichannel consumer lending strategies.

Responsibilities

Set strategic direction and lead performance of consumer loan acquisition and origination across multiple channels.
Oversee application acquisition, completion, and conversion while reducing Member friction.
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish goals and drive sustainable growth and scalability.
Monitor performance measures across volume, completion, and conversion; drive continuous improvement.
Lead modernization of originations through digital capabilities, automation, and self-service.
Provide strategic oversight of indirect and third-party origination channels and partner scorecards.
