Job summary

VCU Athletics seeks a Sr Gifts Officer DV 1 to lead Ram Athletic Fund annual giving, manage donor portfolios, and coordinate fundraising campaigns and events. The role partners with alumni relations, coaches, and university advancement to grow donor engagement and philanthropic revenue.

The position emphasizes fundraising strategy, donor stewardship, and data-driven analysis to meet annual goals and support Rams athletics excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in athletics development, donor relations or fundraising preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple events and donor outreach programs with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual giving and RAF fundraising efforts for VCU Athletics.
• Manage a portfolio of 100+ donors and prospects; grow donor base.
• Develop and execute fundraising campaigns, events and communications.
