Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Lead to oversee Research Ops strategy, governance, and transformation across the organization. This leader will partner with executives to define and communicate the strategic value of Research Ops, shaping tooling, data governance, and measurement frameworks.

The role requires extensive experience in UX/product research operations, and the ability to drive AI-enabled, scalable research processes across multiple portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in a related field, or a combination including advanced degrees.
• 10+ years in research operations, program leadership, or related roles with lead experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional, enterprise-scale programs in UX/product research environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long-term Research Ops strategy, operating model, and capability roadmap.
• Serve as internal authority on Research Ops standards, tools, and practices.
• Lead enterprise-scale transformation initiatives spanning portfolios or units, including governance evolution.
• Establish enterprise standards for repositories, insight management, data governance, and quality.
• Drive alignment across research, design, product, and leadership to connect investments to outcomes.
• Partner with C-suite to define strategic value and investment in Research Ops.
• Lead AI-enabled research systems to reduce friction and scale capacity.
• Own the Research Ops measurement framework and enterprise KPIs.
• Oversee vendor partnerships, tooling investments, and budget planning.
