Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Lead for Research Operations to shape strategy, governance, and execution across enterprise-scale research programs. You will lead AI-enabled initiatives, establish standards, and partner with C-suite to maximize business impact.

You will drive transformation, oversee tooling, governance, and vendor partnerships, while mentoring teams and shaping maturity across the Research Ops function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with substantial experience.
• Advanced degree in HCI, organizational design, information science, or business management preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in research operations, program leadership, or operations roles.
• 10+ years of UX/Product Design, product, design, marketing, analytics, or customer research environments.
• Enterprise-level authority in Research Ops across multiple domains.
• Proven track record leading large-scale cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long-term Research Ops strategy, operating model, and capability roadmap.
• Serve as principal authority on Research Ops discipline, standards, tools, and practice areas.
• Lead enterprise-level Research Ops transformation spanning portfolios and units.
• Establish and govern enterprise standards for repositories, insight management, and data governance.
• Drive alignment to connect Research Ops investments to measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with C-suite to define strategic value and guide investments.
• Lead AI-enabled, automated research systems to scale capacity.
• Own the Research Ops measurement framework and KPIs.
• Oversee vendor partnerships and research operations budgeting.
• Represent Cox Automotive's Research Ops externally via speaking or publications.
• Foster a culture of craft, rigor, and continuous improvement.
