Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Test Maintenance Engineering Lead (Senior Manager/Director) to build and oversee a multi-state maintenance organization. You will lead from the front, defining structure and driving aircraft-standard maintenance across sites.

You will manage a distributed team of technicians and partner with engineering, quality, operations to ensure safety and rigorous standards. Your mission is to safeguard commercial success by preventing process and quality gaps from reaching the field,

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in aviation maintenance or aerospace manufacturing.
• 5–8+ years of direct people management.
• A&P license or equivalent aerospace degree with hands-on experience.
• Strong root-cause analysis and process engineering background.
• Excellent communication with technical and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a world-class maintenance engineering org across multiple states/sites.
• Lead from the front, performing tasks to set a hands-on example.
• Drive aviation-grade standards and a culture of safety and quality.
• Safeguard commercial success by pre-empting technical issues before they reach operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Operations and Commercial teams.
