Job summary

Zipline, a global autonomous logistics leader, seeks an Associate Maintenance Operations Engineering Lead for Flight Test sites to drive maintenance readiness, asset availability, and modification execution in a dynamic test environment.

You will work with flight test operators and engineering to scale maintenance ops, guide technicians, and improve processes while upholding safety and high shop-floor standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aviation maintenance or similar hardware ops.
• Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting in fast-changing test env.
• Experience handling technically complex, non-routine work.
• Judgment in aircraft readiness and hardware changes.
• Knowledge of maintenance docs, configuration control, R2S workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day maintenance execution at Flight Test sites.
• Lead off-nominal maintenance work and create improvement templates.
• Own hardware modification planning and execution across aircraft.
• Run maintenance pilots and trials; feed back to engineering.
• Coordinate fleet configuration changes across varied test assets.
• Manage parts, tools, and equipment aligned to priorities.
• Maintain records, modifications, and configuration tracking.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to technicians and mentor staff.
• Drive scalable maintenance processes for growing ops.
