Job summary

Zipline is seeking an engineer to own software in the critical path of fleet reliability and maintenance operations. You will enable real-time visibility into aircraft, infrastructure, and site assets, and you will orchestrate maintenance workflows across a globally distributed network.

You will build airworthiness and configuration controls, usage tracking, and lifecycle systems that drive preventative maintenance policies.

Qualifications

• Experience building reliable production systems in operationally complex environments.
• Ability to turn ambiguous reliability problems into durable software systems.
• Strong backend and systems engineering judgment with product instinct and operational awareness.
• Care deeply about correctness, reliability, safety, and operator trust.
• Willing to own systems with real-world consequences and high expectations for reliability.

Responsibilities
