Job summary

Zipline is seeking a software engineer to own critical systems in our fleet reliability and maintenance operations. You will work on real-time visibility of aircraft and assets, maintenance orchestration, and airworthiness evaluation to keep the autonomous logistics network running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience building reliable production systems in operationally complex environments.
• Ability to turn ambiguous reliability and maintenance problems into durable software systems.
• Combine backend and systems engineering judgment with product instinct and operational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own software in the critical path of fleet reliability and maintenance operations, including fleet health visibility, maintenance orchestration, airworthiness evaluation, lifecycle tracking, and operational tooling.
• Contribute to reliability automation and event-driven systems that connect live signals to issue detection and repair workflows.
• Shape architecture and long-term platform direction for a globally distributed network of assets.
