Job summary

ServicePoint IT seeks a Lead Technician to oversee CAT5/CAT6 cabling in large commercial environments in Little Rock, AR. You will lead on-site installs, ensure quality, and serve as the on-site primary contact. This role requires strong structured cabling expertise, team leadership, and ability to manage safety protocols.

Travel nationwide is required (100%), and you will collaborate with project managers to meet schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in structured cabling installations.
• Experience leading field technician teams.
• Strong termination, testing, and quality control skills.
• Proficient with Fluke testers and similar tools.
• Willingness to travel nationwide (100%).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee structured cabling projects per standards (BICSI, TIA/EIA).
• Install, terminate, and test CAT5/CAT6 networks.
• Train and supervise field technicians.
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to meet timelines.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and project specs.
• Maintain safety policies per OSHA and company rules.
• Document installations with proper labeling and documentation.
