Job summary

Manatal seeks an experienced Lead Structured Cabling Technician to oversee installations, lead small teams of 3-5 technicians, and ensure project safety, quality, and productivity. The role requires technical knowledge of copper and fiber cabling, testing, troubleshooting, and team leadership.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, terminating and testing cables, and mentoring technicians on procedures and standards. Flexibility for shifts and travel is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, or related construction.
• Experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of cabling pathways, telecommunications spaces, and cross-connects.
• Ability to identify cable color codes and follow industry standards.
• Strong leadership skills to guide a team of technicians.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling systems (copper and fiber) per plans and specs.
• Read floor plans and installation documents to guide work.
• Terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cables.
• Set up and operate testing equipment for copper and fiber.
