Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to design and build a scalable OpenShift-based private cloud platform. You will lead platform services, automate with Kubernetes-native patterns, and collaborate across security, observability, and automation teams.

The role focuses on enterprise-scale private cloud workloads, with emphasis on governance, reliability, and AI-assisted engineering to accelerate infrastructure workflows and ensure auditable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Production services experience.
• Proficiency in Go or Python for production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement platform services for workload onboarding and lifecycle management.
• Build Kubernetes-native automation with controllers/operators.
• Integrate services with identity, secrets, policy, observability, and CMDB patterns.
• Develop tools for multi-cluster operations and cluster onboarding.
• Implement CI/CD for platform software with testing, versioning, rollback.
• Collaborate with infra engineers to define reliability and performance.
• Deliver secure, high-quality production code for private cloud infra.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for platform components.
• Document platform capabilities with examples and reference implementations.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate analysis and mitigate options.
• Lead reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices with validation and auditability.
