Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java in AWS contexts.
• Experience leading engineers and setting team expectations for AI-assisted development.
• Hands-on system design, development, testing, and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices across teams with validated standards.
• Apply knowledge of SDLC tools and automation to improve delivery.
• Influence product design, functionality, and technical operations.
• Act as a function-wide SME and contribute to the engineering community.
• Code in Java, AWS ECS, EKS, and Postgres and use AI agents to improve delivery timelines.
