Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Advanced hands-on experience building microservices and APIs using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Strong full-stack depth with React/Angular and pragmatic API/UI design.
• Proven experience building event-driven systems with Kafka and reliability patterns.
• SQL skills with data modeling, query optimization and tuning.
• NoSQL data stores (e.g., Cassandra, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Designing resilient, secure architectures and secure APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of full-stack capabilities across services and UIs (Java/Spring Boot + React/Angular).
• Drive event-driven architectures using Kafka, including idempotency, retries, and DLQ handling.
• Establish and improve CI/CD gates and release readiness.
• Own production excellence by reducing incidents and performing RCA prevention.
• Improve observability with metrics, dashboards, logs, and alerts.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and coaching; promote reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with product/operations to align delivery and manage risk.
• Adopt AI-assisted engineering practices with measurable validation standards.
• Leverage SDLC tools to scale automation and value realization.
