Job summary

JPMorganChase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join the Consumer & Community Banking ATM technology team in Westerville, Ohio. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable ATM software and leading cross‑functional efforts across multiple technologies.

You will guide agile teams, drive modernization, and champion AI-assisted development practices while collaborating with multi‑vendor ATM hardware partners and Cloud tech like AWS/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
Hands‑on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
10+ years of hands‑on ATM software development in Diebold SmartClient.

Responsibilities

Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' code.
Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value realization.
Drives decisions influencing product design, functionality, and technical operations.
Acts as SME in one or more areas of focus and mentors others.
