JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the Chief Technology Office in Columbus, OH. You will lead agile teams to build trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable manner, while driving adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.

You will contribute across multiple technical areas, ensuring production code is secure, high quality, and maintainable, and you will guide teams through SDLC with a focus on automation, resiliency, and fast delivery.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience leading the use of AI-assisted software development tools and setting team expectations for AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and debug code with solid technical problem solving.
• Develops secure, high‑quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability of software applications.
• Drives adoption of enterprise‑level AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Uses SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Builds components that are AI-native with automated upgrades for easy adoption.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies and shared frameworks.
• Contributes to an inclusive team culture.
